Internet
The speed allocated to our university by ULAKNET is 200Mbit.
All our terminal units are connected to the Seyitler campus via fiber lines (metro ethernet).
Our university's main internet connection; It is provided with a switching device (Enteresis G3) with a 333 Mhz processor, 512 MByte remi, 24 10/100/1000 Gbit UTP ports and 24 fiber ports.
Interconnections of our university units are provided by Enteresis brand A2, B2, B5 model switching devices (switches) with 24 and 48 ports.
Our university's internet traffic routing is done via Astaro ASG525. You can access graphics related to internet usage at mrtg.artvin.edu.tr

Wireless
In all campuses of our university, wireless internet service can be accessed through two different networks named eduroam and acu.
"eduroam" (education roaming) wireless network is a wireless network service that was created in 2003 to meet the wireless internet needs of the education and academic research community and is currently operating worldwide. The "eduroam" wireless network is open to the use of all members of our university and all members of academic institutions worldwide that are members of the eduroam organization. Users are subject to authentication on this network by using their own username and password.
For more detailed information about the Eduroam infrastructure, you can visit https://www.eduroam.org. In order to connect to the Eduroam network, you must enter your corporate e-mail address and the password for this address.

VPN
With VPN, users can access their corporate resources securely over public networks such as the Internet.
In order to log in to information systems such as EBYS and ÜBYS from outside the university network, you must be included in the university network by making VPN settings.
