Apple IOS iPhone/iPad VPN (Apple AppStore)

  1. Open the App Store application and download the FortiClient app.
  2. Accept the permissions requested by the application.
  3. Click on the Connections button.
  4. Click on the Add Configuration menu.
  5. Enter acu-vpn in the Name section.
  6. Enter vpn.artvin.edu.tr in the Host section.
  7. Enter 42443 in the Port section.
  8. In the Username section, enter the part of your institutional email address before @artvin.edu.tr. (For example, if your institutional email address is [email protected], enter mesutdede in this section.)
  9. Click on the Save button in the top right corner.
  10. Click on the VPN button in the top left corner.
  11. Activate the VPN button.
  12. Enter the password for your EBYS account on the opened screen.
  13. Connection successful. You can disconnect the connection with the VPN button.

  • Note:

  • For the username section:

    • Staff members should enter the part of their institutional email addresses before @artvin.edu.tr.
    • Students should enter their student numbers or the part of their given email addresses before @ogrenci.artvin.edu.tr.

  • If you forget your password, you can create a new one at https://selfservis.artvin.edu.tr/.
