Our Department of Information Technology has earned the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information Security Management Certificate approved by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) with its efforts to strengthen the system and network infrastructure and increase cyber security measures throughout the year.

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is an updated international standard for information security management systems and allows organizations to systematically manage information security risks. This standard provides guidelines in important areas such as risk assessment, compliance, human resources security and incident management. It also provides frameworks for the continuous improvement of information security policies and processes. Thus, organizations can effectively adapt to technological developments and changing business conditions. The studies carried out in line with the requirements of this standard aim to maximize the security of our university's information infrastructure and document our university's competence in information security.
