ARTVIN ÇORUH UNIVERSITY EMAIL USAGE POLICIES
By using Artvin Çoruh University email services, you are deemed to have accepted the conditions stated below.
Artvin Çoruh University opens an email account in the format '[email protected]' for every academic and administrative staff member who applies.
The user acknowledges that the right to use the service belongs solely to them and that the username and password are only in their possession. The user agrees not to share this information with others or to change their password if there is suspicion of it being compromised.
The user agrees that all expressions contained in the email message text and attachments are their own or accepts responsibility for them. The user is responsible for sending messages that may constitute a crime, such as threatening, illegal, defamatory, obscene, or libelous messages.
The user cannot have pornographic content, images, animations, videos, etc., in their account or provide links to similar content sites.
The user cannot include materials and documents that would constitute a legal offense or use applications that harm personal account holders in their account.
The user cannot use another system's server or another user's account to send messages without the permission of the relevant person.
The user cannot use their account for commercial or profit purposes. They cannot send bulk emails to many users for advertising, promotion, announcements, etc. (SPAM).
The user is responsible for any legal liability arising from the publication rights of any information in their account.
Some viruses may send infected messages to email accounts in the user's address book without the user's knowledge or permission. Therefore, the user is responsible for having antivirus software installed on their computer and keeping it up to date against newly emerging viruses. Therefore, they accept responsibility for any damage that may arise.
While backups of email accounts are maintained, Artvin Çoruh University Information Processing Department cannot be held responsible for any data loss that may occur for any reason.
